When describing my writing rituals the words sporadic and spontaneous come to mind. Because when I write I never really have a specific place or time of the day in which I choose to write. That all depends on when the "writing bug" actually hits me. It could be 11 a.m. in my room or midnight in the living room, who knows. I do prefer soft surfaces such as a bed or a couch or a soft carpet for my writings. One specific I have to have when writing is total silence. When the TV is on, my little brother 's in the room, and I can hear my siblings arguing; the writing does not come so easily. I have to find the room where noise is miles away and relaxation is in abundance.
Once the writing has begun, I typically do not move until the piece is one hundred percent finished. I don't believe in leaving a paper half done because that will generally lead to forgetting my train of thought or just losing the writing mood I was in at the time. The way my mind works if I saved it on Word half finished, I might open an English paper thinking that I'm about to finish that Economics essay. The length of the paper is almost always determined by what the paper topic actually is. I would probably write a more in depth paper on the principals of baseball than the principals of the economy of Europe. And it doesn't have to be sports! I just enjoy topics that move me and topics that almost get my feelings involved. No matter how long the paper may be or how much I'm feeling it, I always try to exercise my maximum writing ability into the paper. I want to write a paper that will make someone read it and instantly want to check it out again.
When that time comes when the paper has come to its demise, the finale, whatever you want to call it; I usually have only one problem, the paper. My meaning is that I will normally end up printing around 3 or 4 copies of the paper because that
