the original ones form the colonies. Some people started believing differently and broke away from what was tradition. These changes must of added coals to the fire of a rebellious spirit about to burst at the seams.
             Self-reliance was the spirit shown by the English colonies which had established their own political institutions. Unfortunately George III and the British Parliament did not give any political rights to the colonies. So I'm sure that the colonies felt like slaves in the political field. Each colony had a legislative assembly and a governor appointed by England. They may have gained great political experience running their political institutions.
