             I have chosen to study a very unique boy named William. William has just turned three years of age. His height when standing is about a little above my knees. He seems to be of normal weight for his age range. In the textbook on page one hundred fifty five its says the normal weight for a three year old is about thirty pounds. He has very blonde hair that is cut short and hazel eyes. He also has a full set of teeth. William lives with his mother and father and his two older sisters. Their household is very disciplined. His parents are strict on what they are allowed to eat as far as junkfood. His parents also encourage him and his sisters to excel in learning new things. William's parents interact with him a lot on learning and playing. I have chosen to study William because he seems very different from other kids his age that I know. I also picked him because he is a member of the family, and it was easier to observe him rather than a stranger's child.
             William looks like a healthy three-year-old boy. He is very active and does a lot of playing, such as running or chasing. This physical exercise can be seen on him because he doesn't seem to be overweight or chubby. He has developed really good leg and calf muscles because of all the running around. His head is slightly bigger than the rest of his body, which confirms the cephalocaudal principle, which shows that he is developing from head to toe. His arm muscles are developing to where he can throw a ball a pretty good distance. William generally eats healthy thanks to his parents. Eighty percent of the time his parents will cook nutritional meals such as a meat product, a vegetable, bread, and fruit for desert.
