Yesterday as I was getting tired from studying for an Organic Chemistry test I decided to take a break and go for a walk. This walk that I took was unlike any one that I had ever taken before, something appear different, and something was different. It was a walk of well-known territory as I walked down a path that was not far from home. Since I have moved into my home I have walked that same path many times over the years and thought it would be the perfect place to enjoy my simple stroll. The time I spent on that dirt path seemed to be a time of rekindling, and I can still feel the calm gentle wind run through my hair and see the water dropping over the rocks in a near by creek. On this walk I saw many beautiful things, heard assorted sounds and noises and left with feelings I don't usually have when I take a stroll, satisfaction and happiness.
             As I was walking along this pathway I saw a creek that was overflowing with fresh water. I saw two little squirrels drinking the water from the creek and walking along the dirt road. There was a plane flying overhead and I watched it as it disappeared into the distance. There were a few clouds in the sky and I remember seeing one that looked just like an ice cream cone that had three scoops and I began to get hungry. I saw these plants and trees with beautiful green leaves and flowers with petals of diverse colors, and some colors I never seen on flowers before. I picked some flowers from that bunch and took them home where I put them in a vase filled with water and continue to enjoy them. There were houses to my right, big beautiful two story houses that had white rod like iron gates surrounding them. Each house that I would see looked almost identical with its white and pastel color exterior each displaying a three-car garage.
