The Jewish people were being viewed as a race that would initially take over Europe and control the economy, and this was seen as a problem because it would eliminate any chances of the elite groups of the world more specifically Germans from becoming successful. The Jews were also targeted because they were very hard working people who were able to achieve many benefits from their hard work. This made Hitler afraid because they felt that Germany would be lost to an alien people. Hitler goes on to address in his letter to Herr Gemlich his concerns regarding the "[This] thinking and striving after money and power, and the feelings that go along with it, serve the purpose of the Jew who is unscrupulous in the choice of methods and pitiless in their employment.&quo
