What if you were never born?
            
             Abortions occur way too often. There are so many mental, emotional, and physical drawbacks that the mother and the family experience. Many facts prove that abortion is not healthy or safe. We should abolish abortion because it's killing a human life, it causes emotional trauma for the mother and family, and it interferes with God's plan for the child.
             Killing a human life is murder, and that is exactly what abortion is. Statistics say that after twenty-four days in the mother's womb, the baby has regular heartbeats. After forty-two days, the baby's skeleton is complete with reflexes. And at forty-three days, the baby has electrical brain waves. You are considered a human being when you are created at conception. Therefore, when the abortion is performed the baby is able to feel the pain when the doctors tear the body and brain into pieces. This is considered murder.
             Mothers may think that they have a good reason to get an abortion, but after they go through it, eighty percent of them suffer from emotional trauma, and twenty percent of them go into denial. The emotional pain that women experience from having an abortion is too much to handle for most of them. Many of them want to forget what happened, and don't like to face the mistake that they made. Alcohol and drugs become a temporary numbness to their pain. The women don't know how to deal with their emotions and also become very depressed. Recovering from this trauma is a gradual process for post-aborted mothers. Some mothers even ask the question, "Will God forgive me?"
             God has a plan for every person in the world. When you kill a human being, it interferes with this plan. In the Bible, many verses talk about how He will forgive you no matter how great your sins were. Also, there are many verses that talk about how murder is forbidden and is a horrible thing.
