UFOs, little green kid-like creatures that may exist or are made up by people who are amazed by the idea of life on other planets. Many people believe there are aliens among us. Witnesses of these alien encounters explain the aliens to be small kid-like creatures with big black eyes. We may have had contact with these creatures on July 2, 1947, when a space-like object crashed into a field farmed by Mac Brazel. The government has since then covered it up with many ideas from a weather balloon to Project Mogul, which will be explained later on in the paper.
             On July 4, 1947, Mac Brazel who leased the Foster Ranch was herding sheep when he came upon a large field covered in debris. He noticed strange things about the debris. It was light but indestructible. When you would crumple it, it would go back to its normal shape, and you could also not tear or cut it. The debris also had strange markings instead of writing. There were also pieces of wood, no heavier than balsa wood but were impossible to break or cut with a knife. (Stowers) Later on he showed the debris to his neighbors Floyd and Loretta Proctor. The Proctors knew about the UFO craze across the nations and told Mac he should notify the police. On July 7, 1947, Mac Brazel drove to Roswell and showed Sheriff George Wilcox the debris. Wilcox then called Major Jessie Marcel at airbase. Marcel met Brazel at his ranch to examine the field and the debris. (Stowers) When Marcel got there the unusual flexible metal paper, and strange symbols combined with the UFO craze convinced Marcel that this was a real UFO. Later on there was a discovery of what was supposed to be alien bodies. Two of these aliens where pronounced dead at the scene, but one was still alive but soon after died.
