The media transferred uncensored footage such as the horrors of Tet, Buddhist monks immolating themselves in protest and the terror of children exposed to American napalm, daily into American lounge rooms. Shocked and devastated, much of the nation questioned US commitment to the conflict. I believe that America however, officially demanded an end to the war when; 'GIs started coming home in canvas bags'.
