"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the
essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I
came to die, discover that I had not lived." It would be wonderful to have time to live
alone and contemplate life and learn what living deliberately could teach. Personally,
however, I would feel, upon my death, that I missed out on many experiences by
simply living alone and in the same way for a lifetime. I would like to see the world and
