hows that the nurse is caring. Being a full time nurse would be hard, but never the less she shows love continuously one way or another. The attitude that the nurse is Juliet's servant is hidden.
             Act 1, scene 3, is where we first see the nurse. This is the scene where we can collate her background information. The two sit together reminiscing about the good old days. She can remember the exact date of Juliet's birth, a sign of a close connection. It would remain in her memory because of the death of her own child, "Come lammas. Eve at night shall she be fourteen."
             The nurse often comes in at the low points in the play in order to provide entertainment, and she would often provide humour alongside Peter. Peter was the clown to the Capulet's and got on well with the nurse.
             The Capulet's are enemies with the Montague's, and the Montague's have a son name Romeo. Romeo and Juliet first met at the ball.
             The nurse plays a relatively major part between Romeo and Juliet. She occasionally acts, as an interferer for them and it is difficult for the two to meet, due to their families being at war with each other.
             The nurse is a fickle character and this is shown when she constantly changes her opinion on Romeo. Juliet has an arranged marriage to Paris, but after falling in love with Romeo, she doesn't want anything to do with it. The nurse is not informed of this until after her marriage to Romeo. At one point the nurse will agree with Juliet, and she even helps to arrange her marriage with Romeo. Then at another point, she doesn't speak at all highly of Romeo, but yet she praises Paris to Juliet to try and make her want to marry him. We are left wondering whether this is because she is trying to protect Juliet and doesn't want to lose her, or because she is jeal
