             evil often triumphs but never conquers
             In the world we live in life isnt always considered fair. This unfairness of life is shown nearly everyday. Look around, there are wonderful people who are living in the streets with no homes, Also there are cheaters and evil hearted people who are just living the grand life. But in the end it is better to know that you are a moral person at soul and understand the concepts of human rights. This idea of evil often triumphs but never conquers, which is shown nearly everyday in our lives, also affects the characters in Lord Of the Flies and the characters of October Sky.
             In lord of the flies the children first arrive to the island with curiousness and hope. They showed that they can survive using there surrounding area to live. They needed a way to be able to make desicions and control the group. So they voted a leader, Ralph. Ralph was a good hearted person, who believed deeply in his morals and in the basic freedoms of man. His ideas were simple, some people would hunt and others would keep the fire under control. The fire gave hope to the boys that one day they would be rescued. But the hunters began to enjoy the hunt and the bloodshed. There hopes began to change, they began to branch off from the other boys. Jack, who is the leader of the hunters started a new tribe. This tribe he calimed " let them eat all the meat they want and have fun". Eventually Jack and his tribe began to decree the basic morals of human life. They murdered, they stole, and they turned into a group of vicious pack of killers. They also decided they were to kill ralph, who was the only one left not in jacks tribe. So they set the island to fire to smoke ralph out. Ralph ran to the end of the island and came near the beach, awaiting him was a naval officer. This was a sign of victory for ralph escaping out of the grasp of the evil hearted hunters.
