I was waiting for this moment in my life for four years now. The time was finally hear, and as quickly as it came it was gone. Graduation night, the end of one life and the beginning of a totally new one. One full of different opportunities, worries, dead lines, and joys.
We were all dressed up in our school colors. All the girls or young women now were wearing white gowns over their dresses while all the young men were wearing red gowns over our suits. This would be the last time we would have to represent the Cardinals colors. Being so we whore them with pride and for the first time we were very happy to be part of the school.
Everyone there was all exited to see us at the end of our four-year expedition to success. I was in the St. Aloysius gym getting ready to make my final journey through the doors and into the schools church when I started feeling a little uneasy. The time came for all the graduates, my friends, to line up and get ready to make our way to the church for the ceremony. The walk seemed to take forever, as if we were all going to a funeral. I was scared and happy at the same time, not knowing how to feel. I knew that once I took that walk up to the alter, or stage however you want to call it, that would be the moment when everything would change. We finally made it into the church and took our places and sat down, the ceremony was ready to begin
We were sitting down and the first words were said. I couldn't help it but I didn't hear one thing that was said for I was so nervous. Then time came for us to sing our farewell song. We all stood up from our seat, turned the right and made a complete 180 towards all the friends and families that were invited. We faced them and began to sing our song, IT WAS SO HARD by 112.
