            Today's common tasks can be hard on a person. Anything can cause stress in our
            
             lives, and many have founded ways to cope with it. The solution to their stress is
            
             marijuana.
            
             There is no exact date when cannabis, the plant that marijuana came from, came to
            
             the United States. "The original home of cannabis is thought to be central Asia, but it has
            
             spread around the globe with the exception of the Arctic regions and areas of the wet
            
             tropical forests." (History 1). "Cannabis spread at a very early date to Africa and
            
             quickly accepted into native pharmacopoeias." (History 1) It was said that the English
            
             brought it to America. "Now marijuana has many street name like: blunt, pot, grass,
            
             reefer, ganja, joint, weed, mary jane, sinsemilla, roach, thai, sticks, smoke, and dope."
             (DEA 1). "Marijuana grown in other countries accounts for most of the marijuana used in
             the United States." (DEA 1). Marijuana is usually smoked as a cigarette, called a joint or
             a nail, or in a pipe or a bong. it has appeared in cigars called blunts. Most question people
             have is, how long does marijuana stay in your body. "THC in marijuana is strongly
             absorbed by fatty tissues in various organs. Generally, traces metabolites of THC can be
             detected by standard urine testing methods several days after a smoking session. However,
             in chronic heavy users, traces can sometimes be detected for weeks after they have
             stopped using marijuana." (NIDA 3). However, marijuana is often called a "soft drug"
             because it is far less dangerous than heroin, cocaine or speed. "Many drug experts
             consider marijuana less to harmful to your health than alcohol and tobacco. According to
             these scientist, cannabis is about as addictive as coffee." (Marijuana 2).
