orks for one of the largest law firms in Philadelphia. With the creative work of Mr. Demme, we get to see what Andy's personality is like in about five minutes of film. They way he talks to his friends in the office, the way he calls everyone by their first names, the way he calls his mother. These are all ways of showing us how nice of a guy Andy really is and from the very get-go, the audience takes a liking to Andy. We have not hit the major themes of the plot yet but we are still learning more about this character. In the scene where Andrew gets promoted, we see him at the office late, putting in the extra hours to get the job done. We see that he has a serious passion and love for the law and by the end of that scene, we are shown, that he is liked by his superiors because they offer him a large promotion.
