Are you happily married? The answers are going to differ depending on years couples spent together. Newlywed couples would probably say that their marriage is happy. They are freshly in love, finally together and beginning a new experience in life. People who are married for a longer period of time would smile knowing that it was time full of disagreements and different opinions. As Raymond Hull said: "All marriages are happy." It is the living together afterwards that causes all the trouble."
             When I got married I was madly in love and crazy about my husband Marvin. I thought that I knew every little detail about him and still loved him. I never realized how my view was going to change. I was really excited to live with somebody, to share everyday problems and happy moments. I was looking forward to ordering Chinese take out and watching movies on Sunday night. I kept thinking that I was prepared to make things work despite anything. Unfortunately my fairytale-like picture wasn't exactly what happened.
             A few months later the all new romance, travel and opening presents slowly ended and real life started. We both got settled in a new apartment and went back to our full time work. The evenings became more of a routine and seeing each other every day wasn't that much fun either. I was working at my job six days a week and still managed to clean the apartment, wash the clothes, go grocery shopping as well as cooking. After a while I have realized that I could use his help in trying to run everyday things.
             One Friday evening I arrived to our home with my hands full of grocery bags, tired from working late, and he was sitting on the sofa watching soccer. I had had it by then.
