About two weeks ago in my chemistry class, the teacher told us that we were having a surprise test on experiments. I was really worried because I did not complete the homework from the night before, and I thought that I was going to fail.
             After the teacher finished giving directions, we started the experiment. My partner for the experiment was my best friend, Juan, but Juan had not done the homework the night before either, and we both didn't know what to do. I finally decided to open my book and see if I could understand what to do. When I opened my chemistry book, I accidentally opened to the wrong chapter. Instead of opening the book to page 250, I opened it to page 550. I mixed all of the chemicals together incorrectly, but I didn't know that I was doing it wrong.
             Juan started getting nervous because there was a lot of smoke coming out of our experiment. We looked around to the other people's experiments in the class, but nobody else had smoke coming out of their experiment. We wondered why we were the only ones that had smoke coming out of our experiment, but we thought that maybe we were ahead of the other groups.
             When the bell rang to go to lunch, Juan and I left our experiment on the desk and went to eat our lunch. When we arrived back to our classroom an hour later, we saw a weird liquid coming out of our chemistry room. We also noticed a bad smell coming from the liquid. A lot of students were scared and didn't know what to do, so I found the teacher and asked for her help. The teacher was very angry with Juan and I, but before she had a chance to say anything bad to us, the door burst open and the sticky liquid covered the floor.
             Needless to say, Juan and I ran as fast as we could. As soon as we were far away enough, we laughed over the whole thing and decided to do our homework and pay more attention in class.
