William Wordsworths poetry

e was the opposite of poetry; science is limited to the facts but in poetry it is possible to go beyond the facts and explore different places and words. An example of this is shown in Wordsworth's poems as he uses the country side, in many occasions, to inspire him and then writes about them exploring what he sees and what is not visible to man but is in mans mind. William Wordsworth was one of the few poets that believed the value of the poet was the ability to feel the connection between man and nature. Most of Wordsworth's poems reflect on either the 'beautiful' nature or his past encounter with nature. His poems reveal a close affinity with nature. In his poems William Wordsworth tried to seek a language 'really used by men', this was done to capture passions of the heart.
             One of Wordsworth's poems is 'The Daffodils' also known as 'I Wandered Lonely as a Lonely Cloud'. This poem is a postural type of poem, constructing the country side in a peaceful idolised way- so it seems perfect. In this poem he displays his emotions about the daffodils and the country side surrounding them. He takes the reader for a walk through nature explaining what he can see and what he can feel.
