             Love, it is all around us. Love is a part of everyday life. It has existed for as long as the world has existed. We enter the world in love, just as we leave the world in love - God's love. The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language defines love as 1.an intense affectionate concern for another person 2.an intense sexual desire for another person 3.a beloved person (term of endearment) 4.a strong fondness and enthusiasm for something 5.Eros or Cupid (Greek gods of love) 6. a. God's benevolence and mercy towards man b. Man's devotion or adoration of God c. The benevolence, kindness, or brotherhood that man should rightfully feel towards others 7. GOD 8.a zero score in tennis
             Love has many different meanings. However, through every definition, a person can conclude that love is an extremely intense and powerful thing. From definition seven we see God is Love. The foundation of Christianity is love, because Christianity is based on God, who is love. Most Christian children were taught that from the beginning of their religious lives, through both songs and stories. These bible songs range from the infamous "Jesus Loves the Little Children", to less familiar verses such as " This is my commandment, that you love one another, that your joy may be full" and " Love, love , love, love. Christians this is your call. Love your neighbors as yourselves for God loves all."
             Love is used by everybody. It is a gift from God to his children. Everyone feels some type of intense feeling for another at some point, which they only believe to be love. However, the love of most people is not the love God intended us to have. Love goes much deeper then the sweaty palms and butterflies of new relationships.
