This could be because the country has nothing to offer the individuals, and they are leaving for a better quality of life, or if the country seems too great an opportunity to pass up, the country's population will rise. Either way the population can either rise or fall, depending on the migration situation.
            
             Some countries such as the United Kingdom attract a large amount of migrating people. They the UK as the way to a better life, many people move from poorer countries, as they believe they can earn more money and live a better life by moving there. Pull factors such as people feeling safer, medical care, and even freedom of speech are important factors for people who wish to migrate. Push factors such as poverty, a natural disaster, or civil unrest can all help to contribute to the reasons why people want to migrate in the first place.
            
             Countries who have troubles in the present or are forecast troubles for the future are the places which people wish to leave. This leads to migration, and the people who are doing the migrating are the people who could change the future trends. The younger workers of the countries are leaving to find better lives and more wealth and stability as it seems this wont be possible in their current location. This means the country falls further into decline, an ageing population means less skilled workers, less people paying taxes, and older people needing help from the younger generation. When these young people move to another country or area, this place has the opposite problem. The area suffers from the problem of too much demand and not enough supply of good enough jobs. This leaves many people out of work and as in the UK claiming benefit and stretching the countries expenses. This also leads to housing facilities being stretched and the general quality of life decreasing.
