intrigued by the idea of how animation instead of using live footage can often be more effective in standing as a representation for what a nuclear war may mean to us. It uses live footage every once in a while and jolts us between the two aspects of the world of animation and the world as we know it with the physical eye. It questions the audience's way of seeing. They work hand in hand to stir up the trauma in the film.
             The filmic codes and techniques as well as the editing strongly contribute to the ideals of the film. In this case the concept of how one may prevent the traumatic experience of a nuclear attack happening to them or rather how one may protect themselves from the effect of a nuclear war. I want to understand these filmic codes in regards to this.
