             KING COLEN

             When I was in elementary school me and the rest of the school used to do some pretty silly stuff during recess. For example we would elect a new king of the playground each year. The king had no authority over us kids during class, but when that bell rang for recess he was our ruler. This king stuff had been going on for years and decades. It has always made for a very fun and interesting recess. The only bad part was that if the king told us to do something we had to do it no matter what it was.
            
             Now any student could be the king no matter what grade he was in. Most of the time the king was a fifth grader but some times he was like a third or fourth grader. I was a pretty normal third grader. I always had friends with me and loved recess more then anything at school. It was the beginning of the school year and time to elect a new king. Not every buddy had to vote, and I did not care too much about who was going to be king so I did not vote when Election Day came. Which was August 23.
            
             Three days later a fifth grader announced the king. To every ones surprise the new king was... a second grader. This is unheard of, but there was nothing anybody could do about it. No one really had a problem with it except for the fifth graders. Days went by pretty slow for me. Recess was fun as usual and every other part of school was boring.
            
             Every thing was normal on the playground until September 28 when all of the sudden almost every fifth grader in the school began protesting and throwing food at the kings quarters. The fifth graders did not like the idea that a second grader was telling them what to do. There was one fifth grader that seemed to be the leader his name was Colen. I did not know him that well but he always seemed pretty nice.
            
             The protests continued for a few more days. Then Colen started giving speeches. He talked about how a second grader was unfit to lead an entir...
