One who faces, respects, loves, and affirms themself is quite strong. Once this occurs, the product is a self realized being, and the need for authority of any type vanishes. It is not necessary for this being to submit to any invisible authority, whether it be societal norms, religious texts, or common law. Thomas Hobbes can be the final authority for Thomas Hobbes. Such a being is stronger than one who needs permission to act.
