International relations among countries have always been one of major concerns around the world. Likewise, the on-going crisis between Israel and Palestine is getting more and more controversial; it has become the source of headlines throughout newspapers world wide. To make my explanation clear and short, the root of the problem goes back to the year 1948 when they had a conflict over the Holy Land. Jews turned palestein out of their land by force claiming that it is their Holy Land. Thus, the people of palestein lost their land and they were forced to scatter to various parts of the world. The conflict has much to do with the interest of World's Power. During the Second World War the World Power, namely the U. S. and England made conflicting declaration on distributing the land. However they finally supported the Jew because of their economic power. Due to this incident, relations between two nations changed for the worse and they have been fighting ever since. (restate)
This situation has many effects on our peninsula, but I think the most important is the affect on the relation of North and South Korea. If the situation worsens the U. S. will direct its attention to the middle east relatively neglect situation on our peninsula. Besides the atmosphere between North Korea and U. S. is already hostile due to President Bush's comment of the evil slang and Pigmy. If North Korea look upon USA meddling in world affairs unfavorably their relationship will go from bad to worse and consequently relationship between North and South Korea will grow more serious. Furthermore, if U. S. decide to assist Israel of course they will expect us to support them like in the case of the Vietnam War.
