Pop Culture'sand Society

The music industry is an industry that is making billions of dollars a year. This is largely due to the impact of pop culture on music. Nowadays there are many different types of media that exemplify pop culture. Pop culture is marketed directly to American youth through the medium of large network television channels. These channels in turn tell millions of teenagers how to look, what to listen to and how to act hip.
With the uprising of MTV,VH1, and BET, viewers have decided that the only way to be trendy and cool is to be in style.
