the number of checks, and the area that has the most checks is your intelligence. Of course, one person may have an equal number of checks in several areas. Some people read their horoscopes and think to themselves, all this is pretty much true. When taking this assessment some people react in the same way, but knowing your multiple intelligence can benefit the way you learn. In this essay I would like to give a brief overview of the intelligences and how to teach the 8 phases of the moon in few of the intelligences.
             Linguistic intelligence is considered to be "word smart"(Armstrong). This means smartness demonstrated though the use of words, oral or writing. The uses of this intelligence are rhetorical (convincing others), mnemonic (remembering information), and explanation (informing others). In the multiple intelligence inventory for adults some of the statements to agree/disagree with are: "books are very important to me, I can hear words in my head before I speak or write them down, English, social studies, and history were easier for me than math and science, and my conversation includes frequent references to things I've read or heard"(Armstrong).
