             Macbeth is a play that was written by Shakespeare. It is about Macbeth who was once an honorable man. But because of his greed and hunger for power, and with the help of his wife, he is turned into one who killed for his own self. This will be what eventually kills Macbeth.
             In the first act Macbeth and Banquo were traveling home form the battles then they saw three witches. They told him "fair is foul and foul is fair". The witches also predicted the future told Macbeth that he is suppose to be thane of Cawdor, and king of Scotland, and Banquo is suppose to be father of the kings. They were a little skeptical at first but when they meet up with the two noble men who told Macbeth about his new title he wasn't really. He writes lady Macbeth about his new title and tells her about everything the witches had told him. When lady Macbeth receives this letter Macbeth and Banquo meet up with Duncan and he tells Macbeth that he will be staying at his place. Lady Macbeth prepares to murder Duncan when she finds out he is coming. To do so she convinces Macbeth that he is a coward and that if he doesn't kill Duncan she is more male then he is. With this they decide to kill Duncan and blame it on the drunken bodyguards.
             In act two Macbeth and lady Macbeth actually go through with the murder. Macbeth doesn't really want to do it but lady Macbeth keeps telling him that he is weak. When lady Macbeth rings the bell to show Macbeth that she is done with her part of the murder, Macbeth has a vision of a bloody dagger leading him to Duncan's room. When Macbeth enters the room he is crying. So lady Macbeth has to finish the job and put the daggers on the bodyguards. He hears voices and say "Macbeth will sleep no more" and so lady Macbeth tells him "A little water clears us of this deed." Macduff is the one who discovers Duncan's body when he goes to wake him up.
