             This graph shows the number of new cars onto the roads since 1999, it is evident that in 1999 to 2001 the number of new vehicles on the road was gradually increasing to this point. However, in 2002 the graph shows that the number of new cars on the road decreased and from the numbers already received for 2003 we can see that they will decrease again. If a project has been carried out to stop people being dependent on their own private cars and to concentrate on promoting public transport then this fall in sales could show that these projects, to a degree, have been successful.
