st encounter is the kitchen. As we all would agree, this room needs not only to be clean to the naked eye, but antiseptic for the health of those who occupy the household. Immediately I search out the Pine-Sol cleanser that I had bought early on in the week, in anticipation of this weekend ritual. The first target for the germicidal properties in this fine product is the butcher board, which must be scrupulously clean for obvious reasons.
In this task, I choose to use Pine-Sol straight from the bottle, uncut actually, as its' germ-killing potential is fully unleashed. The pine fresh aroma not only suggests cleanliness, but also has, for me, an invigorating fragrance that spurs me on to the tasks that lie ahead. From the butcher board, I proceed to wipe down all the counter surfaces, only this time I dilute the Pine-Sol, using tap water, in the following proportion
