Mankind always has feared that which is different. In the future, that fear will explode into a bloody war, brother will fight brother. Society will be torn asunder. And the human race will wipe itself from different faces of the Earth. In the present, there exists one last hope for humanity. That one hope to ensure our very existence, the existence of our children and ourselves. It is not an impossible dream. This hope that will be spoken of is not just some churches' teachings or an idealistic view. It is what must be done to ensure the future of us all. All that we must do is simply this, not judge each other. Not judging each other is the most effective way to abrogate the persecutions and prejudices that propagate in our society.
             Throughout history when people are judged based on a certain belief, sex, creed, ethnicity, social group, or any other personal Weltanschauung; people will single out that certain group of individuals and set the status of that other people lower than that of their own. All around the world we see that people want to be better than their neighbors, and that drive forces them to do seemingly unimaginable things. A good friend of mine, Betsy Ritter, once wrote "Look at the stars we all live under the same sky, on the same planet. We can accept each other. We must embrace our neighbors for the peace of the world." If we do not embrace each other and force ourselves not to pass judgment, then we are no better than little children who fight over a stolen penny.
