In the film 'The Taming of the Shrew' the two main characters are that of Petruchio and Katerina. Similarly to the two main characters described in 'A Doll House' they are married. Both have their role in society and marriage which is for Petruchio to support his family and for Katerina to be both loyal and obedient to her husband as well as taking position of "mistress" of the house and to supervise with household work.
