Terrorism in New York City

             Throughout its history, the United States of America has had its fair share of terrorism and radical demonstrations. Terrorism is a fact of life that we would all wish would go away but can't. Mental and physical scars pinpoint the heartbreak and sorrow of a once free and safe nation. In the area of the most influenced state, New York, the Empire State, in many cases, has seen the most terrorist attacks and radical demonstrations thus far.
             On September 11, 2001, four sets of Radical Islamic Fundamentalists, with total numbers of about 18, hijacked four jetliners airplanes and piloted them towards the White House, Congress, and the two World Trade Center buildings. The first plane as it stands now was unable to find the white house made a kamikaze maneuver aiming for a part of the Pentagon. This was just one of the four large jetliner airplanes; there were still three flying high in the sky of the American Nation. The passengers retook flight control of the second plane, which headed towards Congress. It later crashed into the ground southeast of Pittsburgh. The two remaining jetliners had the greatest luck and impact on the nation, but more or less New York. The two planes flew head-on directly into the north and south towers of the World Trade Center in New York City. Initially, as the information stated, the terrorist were not planning on the towers to crumble to the ground. They just wanted to demonstrate their power and the seriousness of their loyalty to their country. Initially, about 7,000 lives were believed to have been lost in total. However, in the end, the government found many duplicated names and rewrote the death count at about 2,749.
             Many effects of this dreadful day are still etched into many peoples mind and body language. One way in which the people of New York were affected was psychological. Many psychologists have come to a conclusion about the many side effects on the mental part of terrorism. Terrorism ...
