             Organizations are big part of our society in today's world. No doubt that everybody in the world is a part of some sort of an organization. According to Randall Collins, it is in organizations that social classes acquire their distinctive outlooks, and that the class cultures are the effects of organizational positions. Consequently organizations are a significant and unforgettable part of our daily life, so it comes as no surprise that there are numerous organizational theories. There are conflict theories very well explained by Karl Marx, Edwards, and Collins, as well as functionalist theories.
             Conflict theories agree that the extent to which individuals, groups and classes within society are in competition with each other for whatever people in society consider being important or worthwhile. This does, of course, seem to raise a fundamental problem. Conflict theorists argue that groups in society are always fighting each other. The defining characteristic of any society, from a Conflict perspective, is inequality. Marxists, for example, argue that economic inequality is at the heart of all societies, or as stated in class, private property is the root of all conflict. Karl Marx's classical model which is separated into two important parts called economic substructure and societal superstructure. Economic substructure shapes the base of the classical model which is formed by the forces and means of production, the tools and technology at the disposal of people to produce, and by social relations of production, that is how people relate to each other in the use of the tools and technology. Economic substructure then creates societal superstructure. Societal superstructure is shaped by political state, education, media, religion, sports, and family. Its function is to ideologically indoctrinate the masses. And the base, economic substructure is supported by the societal superstructure.
