             The CISD will be a co-educational independent school, which will educate students from Junior kinder garden to high school graduation. The school will accept students of all backgrounds.
             It will provide a challenging background as well as a balanced range of extracurricular activities of an athletic and creative nature.

             The mission of the proposed school is to offer quality education in a safe school community while helping each child reach his or her greatest potential for a rightful guided competitive adult life.
            
             3. Instructional focus
            
             a) Academic Program
            
              The school's programs will be designed to provide students and their families with a sense of belonging simultaneously to a Canadian & Arabic centred school community.,
              A balanced curriculum will be provided, including emphasis on the development of basic academic skills.
              Teaching methods will show concern for the students as individuals in structured class settings.
              Special education services will be available.
              Childcare will be offered before and after school hours.
            
             CISD will offer as its primary diploma the International Baccalaureate. As an alternative the Ontario OSSD will be offered. The curriculum in the Junior and Middle school will be IB Primary Years Program and the IB Middle Years Program. This will provide a balanced, integrated approach, which will equip the students with all the skills necessary for success in the IB diploma or the Ontario OSSD.
