s is where the conflict begins. There is a slight sense of a competition between the two. This can be seen when they get onto the subject of lifting weights. Will asks Sean if he benches, and he replies "I bench 285, what do you bench?" Will gives no reply, and changes the subject. In this one sentence the feeling that Sean has taken some authority or gained a slight advantage in the 'pecking order' of things over Will is evident. As Will gets up walks about the room, he spots a painting of Sean's hanging on the wall. He mentions it to Sean, who replies with more questions for Will. "Do you like art? Do you paint? Do you sculpt?" Once again Will gives no answers to the probing questions about himself. Instead he talks about the painting, changing the subject off of him, and onto Sean's life.
