             Being a once-in-a-life-time opportunity, the Trap-Ease America project required vast and specific research concerning the consumers' demands of such a product. In the world today, people's needs usually evolve with individual preference. This is usually a result of different products, greater innovation, and more practicality. However, in this particular case, conventional mouse-traps have always been an inexpensive yet impractical solution to rodent infestation. Inventing the Trap-Ease America provided an easier and more hygienic solution to this problem. Yet, the problem was not with the product itself, but the carelessness in the approach of marketing the product. Martha House needed to evaluate the extent of discomfort and dissatisfaction that accompanied the traditional mouse-trap. She needed a more elaborate study of the consumers' willingness to try out a new, and more expensive, product. Moreover, she needed to determine whether her product was worth the price, or if people were satisfied enough with the previous trap to the extent that they would remain loyal to it.
             In our opinion, they were more concerned about ethics and neatness, thus their mission statement would probably be on the lines of, "The ethical way of catching a mouse."
             Our mission statement, on the other hand, would revolve around hygiene and practicality. The reason being, people are more concerned with their households rather than a mouse's life, as well as the cost. Hence, our mission statement would be, "A hygienic solution to your rodent problem over and over again."
             Martha believed the best target market was women taking care of the household. However, she should have placed a higher value on consumers that place hygiene as a primary concern.
