             Today, the topic of cloning generates more argument then it has ever created before. A major factor in the debate over cloning is a fear of new technology. Throughout history man has been slow to adapt to a new technology or a new way of doing things. "We go through all the trouble to adapt to one method, why uproot ourselves and change everything just to do it a different way." (www.humancloning.org). This attitude has been evident in the recent past, with inventions such as the automobile and the television where in both cases at first there was hesitation whether or not to accept the same. Cloning might be the tool to rescue the lives of millions of people, let alone all those who would recover their sight with cloned eyes, or any organ which could be replicated with cloning mechanisms. Cloning has the potential to produce enormous health benefits. I do believe that cloning is the way to the future.
             Numerous benefits can come from cloning technology. The most prevalent reason that cloning should not be banned is its medical value. There are already drug and medicine manufactures all over the world who are working on products that can be produced. "Right now they are trying to produce vaccines against Malaria, antibodies against HIV, as well as proteins to treat hemophilia, muscle disease, internal intestinal infections, rheumatoid arthritis, cystic fibrosis and emphysema (Sinhai,)"(www.humancloning.com). So many lives have been lost because there has been no cure for these diseases. With the advancement in cloning technology we could live a life without the fear of any of these diseases.
             Doctors with the help of human cloning and its new technology will be able to manufacture bone, fat, connective tissue, or cartilage that matches the patient's tissues exactly instead of using materials foreign to the body for such procedures.
