only critical of society due to its ignorance, but he was also critical of its' embracing of what he perceived as unnatural Christian ideals. Nietzsche's solution for this problem was finding an alternative to these Christian views. The search for this alternative group of religious ideals, was not and easy one, but it was the ancient Athenians, whom Nietzsche believed had been able to embrace what it is to exist as a human:
