             One example of his ability to succeed and achieve goals for himself and the corporation that he truly adored the NYSE was the growth that the Corporation saw since Dick Grasso took the helm of the company. One of Grasso's accomplishments since 1995 was the more than doubling the listing of companies that the (NYSE) covered at that time the market value of the (NYSE) grow from nine trillion dollars too thirteen trillion dollars in a time frame of five years.
             The second of Grasso's accomplishments was through initial public offerings that were available, In 1998 the firm was able to generate ninety percent of proceeds raking in a record seventeen billion in 2002 noted through The Motley Fool article states that it was "something that the firm tried to avoid". People stated that the move to accomplish this move was a brilliant business for sight and would benefit the NYSE for years to come due to this business decision Grasso's bonus program was surpassed every year since 1996.
