             history. She assumed her current position in February 2001.
             George L. Jones was named to the post of President and Chief Executive
             Officer of the Saks Department Store Group on March 1, 2001. Jones also
             currently serves on the Board of Directors of Saks Incorporated. Jones has
             a retail background across nearly 30 years. Since 1994, Jones has served
