             commonplace. Movies have romanticized the mafia and mercenaries, depicting
             them as individuals caught in a vicious circle rather than people who made

             character that is trying to maintain his Samurai traditions, while breeding
             pigeons and enjoying hip-hop. The actual perverted reality of Ghost Dog's
             character is overwhelmed by the description of his humanizing qualities and
             the fact that he has become quarry instead of the hunter. That he
             retaliates to threat by killing is accepted as necessary. The lines between
