home cooked meals in order to be happy again is portrayed by the media as
the normal visage, women across the culture adapt the image as what is
normal, or what reality' should be for them.
At the heart of this sociological issue is our view of ourselves
outside of the media's influence. When a person is hungry, almost anything
will taste good. But if a person is presented with another piece of pie
after a satisfying thanksgiving meal, the extra calories are easy to turn
down. In the same way the reality television shows, and the media image of
women have access to our cultural psyche. We are unhappy with ourselves,
