             it did not (Dean, 2001). Business professionals often make the unethical
             decision to compromise quality in order to reduce costs and increase
             profits at the expense of the consumer. The consumer is often misled in
             these situations to believe that the product they are buying is something
             that it is not. Comprising the quality of products stems from a lack of
             integrity, and society is now holding businesses more accountable than ever
             before for their actions (Kimm, 2003).
             Effective communication is the key element to successful business,
             but an ethical issue plaguing many businesses is the lowering of the
             quality of communication between management and employees as well as with
             clients (Rutland, 2002). When communication is compromised, employee
             morale decreases and business ultimately suffers. Communication within a
             business may decline if there is not agreement or consensus as to what the
             fundamental values are of the corporation (Henley, 2000). Integrity and
