             The ideals of romanticism carried into everyday life, and Blake's
             work illustrates how even everyday objects could be romanticized by a good
             poet. His poem "The Lamb" is more than a celebration of life and
             rejuvenation in the spring, it is an ode to the higher power that created
             life and love. He writes, "Gave thee life & bid thee feed, By the stream
             & o'er the mead;" (Blake), and the words are as romantic and beautiful as
             Rousseau's walk in the countryside. Placed side by side, it would be
             difficult to tell the two passages apart, or decide which man wrote which
