             Feminists need to acknowledge the authority of the Scripture as a source
             for (their) understanding the human person and human life (Farley 2004). In
             the least, Scripture contains and teaches a more-than-patriarchal view of
             human life, which is not sexism-based. The Scripture also embodies and
             recognizes the truth about women's reality as feminist consciousness
             advances. The Scripture connects with it, unfolds it and makes it resonate
             with other truths. Because it serves to illuminate human experience, the
             feminist mind should search and establish clues and links to their
             existence, destiny and the decisions they need to make for themselves.
             Two observations stand out for feminists. One is that Biblical
             accounts of oppression and suffering carry moral imperatives that apply to
             oppressed and suffering feminists. They can use these and stand by them in
             Women suffered from credibility from the start, as did those who
             first found the rolled stone at the grave of Jesus Christ. But their
             witness still presented hope that was and still is life-giving and pointing
