most often have different definitions of freedom, and individual ideas
regarding what it takes to have, and maintain freedom. As such, this war
is one of the most important unarmed conflicts of the early 21st century.
One of the most recent battles in the culture war was the planned
display in the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum commemorating the
50th anniversary of the dropping of atomic weapons on Hiroshima and
Nagasaki to end the Second World War. The decision to drop the bomb, and
end a bloody war at the cost of the lives of two entire cities was
difficult, but then war is a difficult situation. Targeting civilian and
military targets with a weapon of mass destruction had never been down
before. The idea of causing mass injury on a civilian population violated
the principles by which America fought its' war. But the devastation of Fat
Man and Little Boy brought about the desired end, a swift, complete, and
