Also, it would be a good thing to have some kind of protection for your family, but why go the distance as to the possibility of shooting and killing someone. Many times, when people get woken up at night in the dark and reach for their gun, the often times shoot their child who was sneaking in coming from a party or something of that sort. Then you have a burden on your shoulders which is difficult to live with.
