             constant source of personal wonderment. In fact, to my mind, the intricate
             design of Nature is proof positive that the universe and life work to a
             design, which is certainly not random. If there is a design to life, then,
             logically it can be inferred that God exists. In drawing this inference, it
             is apparent that I concur with Descartes who approached the question of
             whether God exists using two very different lines of thinking in his
             Meditations Three and Five, using the former to examine the nature of human
             consciousness and the latter to analyze the nature of material things
             Descartes concluded that God is an idea that is already innate in
             human consciousness, as evidenced by the fact that human beings are
             constantly striving to attain the ideal of perfection. Similarly, he
             reasoned that the immutable laws of nature were proof that existence
