             Voluntary Euthanasia is a case where the patient himself consents and requests action to end his life. In short, the patient in this case is in full knowledge that this action will end his life. Involuntary Euthanasia is the case where the patient is put to death or his life is put to an end without his active consent or knowledge. Invariably involuntary euthanasia is practiced on terminally ill and unconscious patients who do not respond to any medical therapy. While Euthanasia on the whole is a much questionable option, the problem is aggravated by the difference between "Voluntary passive Euthanasia" and "Involuntary active Euthanasia".
