Homeless

             Homelessness is a serious problem throughout the world. Homelessness effects more people than one can even guess, but homelessness does not necessarily mean that the homeless person does not have a house. To many people, a home is filled with emotions and they become attached. Because of this attachment, losing a home is one of the greatest tragedies in life.
             Homelessness is not being houseless. In the conventional use of the word "homelessness," one may assume it means to be without a house, but to be without a house is to be houseless. A home does not necessarily have to be a house at all. In my case, a country is home. In an unfamiliar environment, America can never be my home. Qatar is where I grew up and it is where my whole family lives. One day I will return and stay to live my life. I have a house here, but there is something inside me that longs to go home. I have learned to appreciate the saying "home is where the heart is." Home is just a place that you feel you never want to leave.
             People tend to get so attached to their homes because their home is their special place. At one time or another, all of us have had a bad day. The only place that can help the situation is home. We want a quiet place to go to that we can be calm and reflect on anything that may have happened. Our home is our refuge that we use to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle of daily life. Not only is it special to us because it is calming, but also because we create so many memories in our home.
             Losing a home can be the most devastating event to happen in ones life. A natural disaster, such as the flooding that has been happening lately, is just one devastating way someone may lose precious memories from the past. Watching television, the local channel has been covering the flood very well. There was a woman that the news reporter was interviewing who had lost almost all of her belongings
