e responsible for a project's success and it allows group members to become familiar with situations that they may not have been aware of (Bontas and Mochol, 2005). For example, perhaps it usually takes two days for a production facility to complete an order, and that time estimate would normally be used. But when we bring the plant manager into the estimation process, we learn that the plant will be performing routine equipment maintenance during the period in question, and now the turnaround will be 10 days. We now have a better estimate because we brought this stakeholder into the process.
             Of course, Delphi estimation has its disadvantages, too. First, this constant cycle of meeting and revision takes time, perhaps considerable time if individual members are obstinate about their personal estimates (University of West Florida, 1996). Second, it is possible that the group can be wrong, particularly if the more dominant personalities in the group influence the more weak-willed members of the group, even though those members may be correct (Wiegers, 2000). When you are sitting in a room with your boss, for example, and he or she tells you your estimate is wrong, it may not be easy to argue and defend the correctness of your estimate.
